Meet the Team
Chris Clarke -Irons
Chris qualified with a 1st class honors degree in Physiotherapy in 2006 and then went onto to study at Kings College London to complete his Masters degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2014. On completion of this masters degree, Chris joined the MMACP which recognises the standard of excellence he provides as a Physiotherapist. In 2018, Chris completed a Post graduate certificate in musckuloskeletal diagnostic ultrasound, achieving a distinction. Out of the academic setting, Chris worked in the NHS for 5 years before working in full time in professional sport where he currently leads the medical department at Essex County Cricket Club. Also during his time in sport, Chris has worked at a Premiership Rugby, London Olympic Games and International Cricket. Whilst Chris is use to working with all areas of the body in working in sport, he has a specialist interest in spinal, shoulder and knee injury.
Harry is a qualified strength & conditioning coach, graduating with a Masters degree from the university of East London in 2015. Since graduation, Harry has worked full time in professional sport and is Lead fitness coach at Essex County Cricket Club. Harry is highly skilled practioner and is accredited with the UK strength & Conditioning association. Harry has a proven track record in helping people reach their physical goals and specialises in strength/speed and power development.
Billy is a qualified physiotherapist who graduated from Huddersfield University in 2015. Since graduating, Billy initially worked in the NHS after graduating, and has gained experience in professional football and strongman/powerlifting. Billy has been part of the medical team full time at Essex County Cricket Club since 2017 provide physiotherapy services to 1st/2nd and Academy squad. Billy has an interest in acupuncture/dry needling and gym based strength rehabilitation. Clinically Billy has a specialist interest in Hip and Knee injuries.
Anthony is a qualified Physiotherapist who has worked at the clinic since 2018. Previous to starting with the clinic, Anthony worked with Colchester United and then full time with West Ham United FC Academy as the Lead Academy Physiotherapist. Prior to his Physiotherapy degree Anthony completed a sport science degree. Anthony has a specialist interest in pediatric conditions, Knee and Ankle injuries and post operative rehabilitation.
Chris is a qualified strength & conditioning coach, attaining a BSc degree in strength & conditioning in 2018. Since graduating , Chris has worked within a well established gym as a personal trainer and now works within Essex County cricket club as Pathway Strength & Conditioning coach, working with the professional squad and academy programmes. Chris specialises in youth athletic development, and is well experienced in understanding the needs of improving physical performance in playing football to semi-professional level.
Victoria is a qualified Physiotherapist who graduated from Birmingham University with a Master Degree. Previous to this Victoria completed a sports & exercise science degree at Loughborough University. After graduating, Victoria has worked in the NHS and private pratice, with her now being involved in professional football and cricket. .
